Intimate Outdoor July Wedding
Despite having to make changes to their wedding because of Covid-19, Cassie and Alex remained positive and upbeat the entire day! Between the heartfelt vows, speeches and first dances, it was easy to see how these two were made for each other. It was a hot one, but there was a great breeze that allowed us to take a ton of pictures outside.
Schafer Century Barn
This was our first time being at Schafer Century Barn in Adair, Iowa and WOW what a beautiful space! The barn was built in 1915 and was converted into a wedding venue by the family 100 years later in 2015. To read more about the history, visit their website here!
The interior is filled with Edison bulb lights and has large barn doors that open to the outside giving you a ton of lovely lighting for the reception. Outside, there are tons of trees, a pond and a large open area that is perfect for outdoor ceremonies. We love when a wedding venue gives us endless opportunities for photo backdrops!
