Burlington Intimate Wedding | Good Restaurant + Lounge | Mariah + Mark
Outdoor Courtyard Fall Wedding with Bohemian Florals
2020 was one heck of a year, but weddings like this remind us why we love our jobs as wedding photographers!
Mark and Mariah got married at Good Burlington Restaurant and Lounge in Burlington, Iowa the last weekend of October. They had been engaged for 2 years when they decided they didn’t want to wait any longer. They planned their wedding in less than a month and all we can say is, WOW! What a beautiful and special day it turned out to be. At the end of the day, saying ‘I do’ is the most important thing, and this day was certainly centered around love!
With Covid still putting a damper on large gatherings, they decided to have an intimate wedding with just family and close friends and Good Burlington was the perfect setting for this. It’s decorated top to bottom in fun and quirky decor, arcade games, book shelves, countless rooms to explore and even a ball pit! Our favorite feature, however, was the beautiful courtyard area with twinkly lights and a fire pit where Mark and Mariah held their ceremony. It’s also just a short drive away from Snake Alley, a beautiful winding brick road surrounded by flowers and trees where we took Mark and Mariah’s portraits. The weather was gorgeous and the fall colors were in full effect. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!
We were so happy we got to be a part of Mark and Mariah’s special day!
