September Wedding in Iowa
Sam and Corey had the perfect weather for their September wedding! No rain, 70 degree temps and beautiful sunshine the entire day. That’s all a couple of Iowa wedding photographers could ask for! Oh, and an awesome couple to photograph too. Joe went to school with Sam and Corey, so it made for an extra fun day of photographing throughout Cedar Rapids with a couple of old friends.
We started the day at the Cedar Rapids Marriott where the bridesmaids were prepping for the day. We then hung out with the guys while they got ready at Usher’s Ferry Historic Village Wedding Venue before heading to the ceremony at St. John’s XXIII Church in Cedar Rapids. After the ceremony, we made a pit stop at Lucky’s on 16th and the Czech Museum before heading back to Ushers Ferry for bridal party pictures around the grounds! The gazebo, tree lined road and early 19th century style houses provided endless options for bride and groom portraits and bridal party pictures. We ended the night with speeches, first dances, Donutland donuts and an epic dance party. Thank you Sam and Corey for allowing us to capture your day!
